Programs & Services
The Clackamas County Arts Alliance programs are primarily information and resources to promote and support culture and the arts in Clackamas County. We facilitate, encourage and develop advocacy tools for achieving livable communities and enhancing arts in education.

Helpline
A free phone service to help folks who are looking for answers to art related questions. We do our best to answer questions or make appropriate referrals. Questions might be as simple as "Where can I purchase X brand of oil paints?" or as complex as "How do I begin a business as a costume designer?" Depending on the complexity of the question, the Alliance staff provides as much information as possible or will shift the caller into a "mentorship" program.

Mentorships
A Mentorship usually begins with a helpline caller whose questions that are bigger or more specialized than what we can resolve in one telephone conversation. In such cases, the Alliance may determine that the situation warrants a Mentorship. The Alliance will seek the most appropriate professional to act as a mentor and then compensates that professional for their consulting services. The individual or organization then gets the answers and advice they need (at no cost) so that they can continue to grow in their work for the arts.

Cultural Facilitation
The Alliance routinely hosts events that gather cultural partners for discussions on needs, goals and priorities of the Clackamas Cultural Community. The Alliance hosts such forums to bring Community participants and current leaders together to express concerns, interests and cohesiveness in a positive environment.

Artist Registry
The Alliance maintains a registry of arts, heritage and humanities resources within Clackamas County. All artists are encouraged to submit their name and details about their work to the registry to be considered as a resource. Any organization can list their services, events, opportunities on this amazing resource guide: Clackamas Culture.

Art In Public Spaces
A program that provides the Clackamas communities with rotating exhibits of original, high quality artwork. The work is installed by the artist and Alliance staff on a quarterly schedule. Artists are selected from the Clackamas Culture Resource Guide. This program includes the Sunnybrook Service Center's Skylight Gallery, a large-scale venue dedicated as an art gallery, County Website's "Featured Artist" showing images of artwork on the county home page. Providence Milwaukie Hospital's Center on Aging Gallery is a venue dedicated to local, mature artists from Clackamas County.

With all exhibition programs the Clackamas County Arts Alliance does not retain any proceeds from sales that result from the exhibit.

Publications
The Clackamas County Arts Alliance regularly produces brochures, pamphlets and documents that support and promote the cultural qualities of our county.
